Masquerade today
announced the next 3
main Productions.
First up is "The
Pirates of Penzance"
- Broadway Version.
This "swashbuckling"
show will be at
Bearwood Theatre
October 28th to 1st
November 2008.
Audition details are
currently being
arranged and full
details will be
available shortly.
The "Family Show"
this year is "Seussical
the Musical" this
Colourful and Fun
Show bring the "Cat
in the Hat" and
"Horton the
Elephant" to life in
a Magical Musical
re-telling of the
Stories of Dr,
Seuss. A great show
Children and Adults.
The Summer Show is a
real "Hum Dinger" -
Look out Ladies it's
THE FULL MONTY !!!!

Company of Young
Actors
Masquerade is
pleased to announce
that the first
Production, for
"MASQUERADES" our
new Company for 14
to 18 year olds will
be Les
Miserables Schools
Edition at
Bearwood Theatre,
date to be confirmed
Final details are
now being made for
Company Auditions and
full details will be
posted here shortly.
The Les Mize will be
a "Full-Scale"
Production, with
full band, sets from
"scenicprojects"
and costumes from
the National Youth
Theatre.
Masqueraders will
hold "OPEN
AUDITIONS" for all
Principal Roles and
Ensemble - for more

Schools Edition see

LESMIZE
It is planned
that rehearsals will
be held in Caversham
on Friday Evenings -
(The Masqueraders
official Company
Night) and
some Sunday
Afternoons -
although a full
rehearsal schedule
is currently in only
in the planning
stage.

Our summer show in
2008, will be
Titanic the Musical
at the Hexagon,
Reading - 1st - 7th
June 2008.
Titanic is a huge
Show, possibly the
biggest amateur show
ever to be attempted
at the Hexagon.
We need a Cast of
80
for this show -
strong singers of
all ages Male &
Female. It you,

enthusiastic

Hamlet
Hamlet Closed on
Saturday 20th May,
after a very
successful week,
which included a
visit from the BBC!
- who were filming
for their
forthcoming
programme ~ "The
Culture Show". The
filming was on
Thursday evening and
all of the Cast were
interviewed and
parts of the Show
filmed. The
Programme will air
on 3rd June on BBC
TWO at 8:10pm -
Watch out for it!!
